The currency of authenticity

Because everything is dystopian as everything feels scripted.
— Loren Ajoa

Authenticity has always been the currency of effective fanbase building and life changing friendship.

But now more than ever there’s an urge for sincerity.

Bizarre it is that innate desire for writing I had abandon to write my feelings in music.

Knowing that somewhere there’s a someone who will take piece of my work feed it to a robot who will mix my words and make them BRAND NEW BRAND NEW.

When your thoughts are anticipated by the algorithm, are your preferences innately your own or are you influenced by the rabbit hole you were led on on tik tok or youtube ?

Even Intuition feels as if it’s running on a pre-edited program.

Do I recognize a series of pattern in a situation or person because my brain is wired to trust my instinct or Am I influenced by an inspiration post on Instagram on how to recognise toxic traits, or a “ if it does not feel right leave it”.

I am not sure anymore.

Cue in SZA “I need humanity”.

Articles felt aseptic as I was reading them, the same tired jokes, the same writing style. I am that different? Millions of black girls with big glasses, unused degree in humanities, only a delusional dream and Jack of all trades Master of Self Sabotage and Instagram anxiety induced Braggadocio.

Because everything is dystopian and everything feels scripted.

Yes, everything feels dystopian and reality seems cryptic.

Can’t distinguish a dream from sequences of threads and videos.

creativity is the expression of random acts of humanity

NPC lore dipped in niche internet culture. “ Ice cream so good”

Authenticity will be the new currency more than ever.  A badge of honor of quality/qualified human.

So I decided to sign authentically written by me.

An article authentically written by me.
